Assign MCP tools and capabilities to WordPress users based on their role. Manage predefined and custom MCP tools, create MCP groups, set conditional logic, and generate per-user tokens with MCP JSON endpoints.

KnowRoleMCP is a centralized MCP (Model Context Protocol) management hub for WordPress. It allows administrators to:

  • Define MCP tools (WordPress-native or external platform)
  • Organize tools into MCP groups
  • Assign groups to WordPress roles
  • Grant individual users additional MCP groups
  • Set conditional logic on tools (e.g., only pages under a specific parent)
  • Generate per-user authentication tokens
  • Serve MCP JSON via REST API endpoints
Users see a simplified Profile > MCP section where they can generate tokens and view their MCP JSON configuration.
