KnowMyDocs creates an MCP server as a WordPress REST API endpoint that allows AI tools to interact with your BetterDocs knowledge base.

Does this require BetterDocs?

Yes. KnowMyDocs is an extension that adds MCP capabilities to BetterDocs. It requires BetterDocs to be installed and active.

What AI tools are supported?

Any tool that supports the MCP (Model Context Protocol) standard, including Claude Desktop, Cursor, Claude Code, and others.

Are tokens secure?

Yes. Tokens are hashed before storage using WordPress's password hashing (bcrypt). The raw token is only shown once at generation time.

Can I limit what users can do?

Yes. Admins can grant access to other users with granular permissions: specific doc categories, FAQs, glossaries, settings, CSS, and image uploads.
